DRN Dog Dia-Tab

Dia-Tab® is a complementary dietary food for dogs. It is indicated for the reduction of acute intestinal absorption disturbances.

Composition:

Pectin (source of mucilaginous substances), dextrose, minerals, products obtained from the processing of herbs.

Increased electrolyte levels (sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate) and highly digestible ingredients (dextrose).

Indications:

Dia-Tab®, in palatable tablets that are easy to administer, quickly improves stool consistency and helps restore normal electrolyte balance while awaiting further investigation.

Dia-Tab® helps maintain intestinal mucosal function thanks to:

• The ability of bentonite and montmorillonite to absorb water
• The pectins that form a protective film on the intestinal mucosa
• The integration of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate, and sodium bicarbonate, which replenishes lost electrolytes
• Easily digestible substances (dextrose) that restore optimal energy availability

Directions for Use:

Single tablet administered as a treat or mixed with meals.

For dogs weighing:

• Up to 10 kg: ½ tablet 2 times a day
• Up to 20 kg: 1 tablet 2 times a day
• Over 25 kg: 1 tablet 3 times a day

It is recommended to administer Dia-Tab® for 2-3 days.

The quantities may be adjusted at the discretion of the Veterinarian. It is recommended to consult a Veterinarian before use. It can be used during diarrhea episodes and in recovery periods thereafter.
